Eurovision 2020 | 'Eurovision France - C'est Vous Qui Décidez' is France's new natio

France have decided! Eurovision France - C'est Vous Qui Décidez (Eurovision France - It's You Who Decides) is the new national final that the nation will use to select their act for Eurovision 2021.
The new Head of Delegation for France, Alexandra Redde-Amiel, has shared more information on this new showl: "It will be a large evening event produced by France Télévisions. The idea is to put a spotlight on Eurovision that night. We will film this event in a large concert hall in a regional city, and it will be presented by Stéphane Berne."
Alexandra went on to give the reasons behind France deciding to revert back to a national final:"You have to look at it in context. Tom Leeb was selected internally. Covid-19 came along and Eurovision was cancelled. Eurovision is one of our strongest brands. We can't let our audience go another year without it. We talked about it with Tom and we decided to get the public behind Eurovision once more by creating Eurovision France - C'est Vous Qui Décidez."
At the moment, it is unknown how many singers will be participating in the show, or how they and their songs will be selected. We also don't know yet how the winner will be decided.
'Eurovision France - C'est Vous Qui Décidez' takes over from 'Destination Eurovision' as France's newest national final for Eurovision. It comes after they decided to ditch Destination Eurovision for 2020 in favour of an internal selection, which saw Tom Leeb selected to sing "Mon Aliee" (The Best In Me).
While we await more news on France's selection for Eurovision 2021, let's re-live Andy's reaction to this years French entry by Tom Leeb.
