Portugal | Here are the first finalists of Festival da Canção 2020

Tonight we will witness the start of the race for the Portuguese representative at Eurovision 2020! The 54th edition of Festival da Canção will consist of three live shows that will be broadcast during a two-week period, with two semi-finals on 22 and 29 February, taking place in RTP's studios in Lisbon, and the final on 7th of March 2020, held at the Coliseu Comendador Rondão Almeida in Elvas.
Sixteen songs written by both professional and amateur composers, and with no language restrictions, are to participate, out of which eight songs will advance to the final, with four from each semi-final qualifying. The results will be determined by a mixed method of 50% jury votes and 50% televote.
The line-up for tonight's semi final:

Bárbara Tinoco - "Passe-Partout"
Blasted - "Rebellion"
Elisa - "Medo de sentir"
JJaZZ - "Agora"
Throes + The Shine - "Movimento"
