Italy | Second night of Sanremo comes to a close with Francesco Gabbani as favourite

It was another night of great music in Italy during it's annual great week of Sanremo. Several Italian music stars shined on the Teatro Ariston stage during the second night of the historic contest. Among them was former Eurovision contestant Francesco Gabbani (2017).
The contest is divided into four nights (not qualifiers) and the grand finale. The vote of the audience (34%), a jury (33%), the press room and the members of the orchestra (33%) will decide the winner thanks to a mixed and cumulative voting system night by night. The winner of Sanremo 2020 will have the right to represent Italy in Eurovision 2020, an option that if discarded, will go to on another contestant chosen internally by RAI.
Among the guests of this second night were two Eurovision stars: Two times representative of Italy in Eurovision, Massimo Ranieri (1971 and 1973). In addition to Ranieri, the group Ricchi e Poveri (1978) have also sung at the gala.
In the previous gala we could listen to the first 12 songs of Sanremo 2020, of which "Dov'è" by Le Vibrazioni, "Andromeda" by Elodie and "Fai rumore" by Diodato were the three favorites of the jury.
