Belarus | 12 acts qualified for the live final

January 27, 2020

Today in Belarus, 49 acts wanted to impress the jury members to qualify to the live national final for Eurovision 2020, but only 12 got their ticket to the final!

  • Anastasiya Glamozda – “Burning again”

  • Anastasiya Malashkevich – “Invisible”

  • Anastasiya Razvadovskaya – “Hello”

  • Angelika Pushnova – “True Love”

  • AURA – “Barani svajo”

  • Darya Khmelnitskaya – “On Fire”

  • Group CHAKRAS – “La-ley-la”

  • KeySi – “Chili Pepper”

  • NAPOLI – “Dоn’t let me down”

  • Sasha Zakharik- “Rocky Road”

  • VAL – “Da vidna”

  • Yan Yaroche – “Fire”

All of the songs that took part in the live auditions are available to watch on YouTube.

There is no surprise that the band NAPOLI have returned to the competition for the 7th year in a row. They have taken part in Belarus' national selection for Eurovision every year since 2014, with their best result coming in 2016 when they finished in 2nd place behind Naviband.

Other acts hoping to win the ticket to Eurovision are VAL (Vlad and Lera), a cool couple performing a song in Belorussian and former national final participants AURA, Angelika Pushnova and Vitaly Voronko. Former Eurovision participant as part of the band 3 + 2 who sang for Belarus in 2010, Artem Mihalenko, failed to make the final 12.

All the 12 acts will compete in the National Final coming up in the next few weeks (The exact date is unknown yet). But, there is a difference now! Compared to last year where the winner was decided only by the jury vote, this year we will see the votes from the public too! The winner will be decided by a mix of jury vote and televote.
