Eurovision 2020 | It's Tom Leeb for France

The French broadcaster France Télévisions have just announced they have chosen the 30 year singer, actor and comedian, Tom Leeb, to be France's representative in Rotterdam this coming May. The song will be released in the coming weeks by the broadcaster.
In a statement about him being chosen, he has said "The Eurovision Song Contest is an iconic and unifying event. I am so proud of representing France and I can't wait to live this experience with you all."
Tom is relatively new in the music scene, releasing his debut single "Are We Too Late" in August 2018 and his debut album Recollection in September 2019. You can watch Tom Leeb's debut single below:
The choice has come after France Télévisions decided to internally select their act after 2 years of using Destination Eurovision as their national selection process. This is so they can concentrate in choosing the right song and artist to represent them in Eurovision.
Last year France chose Bilal Hassani to be their representative in Tel Aviv last year. He represented the country with the song "Roi" and came in 16th place with 105 points.
We talked to Bilal last year in Tel Aviv on the orange carpet. You can watch the video below:
