Eurovision 2020 l Sandro Nicolas has been chosen to represent Cyprus

Cyprus have finally announced that they have chosen Sandro Nicholas to represent them at next year's Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam.

They Cypriot broadcaster CyBC have confirmed this on their official Facebook page. CyBC also say that there will be news about their Eurovision entry in the upcoming weeks.

Before they selected Sandro Nicolas, there were 120 submissions sent to the broadcaster, all of whom wanted the chance to compete for Cyprus.

According to previous news, it had been rumored that Sandro Nicholas was supposed to compete for Germany, but Cyprus was faster to catch him to represent the Island in Eurovision 2020. 

 

This Saturday, 30 November, Sandro will make is first appearance for the Cypriot broadcaster after being announced as their act to the Eurovision Song Contest.

CyBC are looking for songs that would be perfect to compete with for Sandro Nicholas. These are the names of the songs that are likely to be chosen by the broadcaster:

  • My Getaway

  • Falling To Pieces

  • Never Let You Down
