Albania | Efi Gjika teases new single and takes us backstage at Junior Eurovision 2019

November 26, 2019

Albania's representative at Junior Eurovision 2018 Efi Gjika, has revealed that she will be releasing a new single, with the music video being filmed in Poland.

Efi represented Albania at Junior Eurovision 2018 in Belarus with her song 'Barbie', finishing in 17th place with 44 points. She returned to Junior Eurovision this year in Poland, as the spokesperson for Albania, and we were lucky enough to get an interview with her!

During her interview, Efi mentioned that she has a new song coming out soon, and that she would be filming the music video for it in Poland. She even sang a little bit of her new song for us!

Her new song, 'Cool Kids', will be the third song she has released since Junior Eurovision. The first song Efi released after Junior Eurovision was 'Happy Birthday', which came out in June. This was followed by 'Summer Days', which was released in September.

While we await her new song, check out the teaser video for her new song that Efi has posted to her official YouTube channel.

Alongside the release of her new single, Efi has also treated us to a behind-the-scenes video of Junior Eurovision 2019, in which she was there as the spokesperson for Albania.

In the video, she takes us backstage to the delegation bubble, where she speaks to some of this years Junior Eurovision participants, as well as Darina Krasnovetska who sang for Ukraine in 2018.
