Junior Eurovision 2019 | Second rehearsals continue!

The second rehearsals for Junior Eurovision 2019 are in full swing, so let's see how the remaining countries faired in their rehearsals!

Georgia:

This year Georgia have sent young singer Giorgi Rostiashvili to Poland. His second rehearsal was very good, and commanded an applause at the end of his performance from the press centre. Dressed in a yellow jacket, he certainly stood out, and seems determined to go all the way to win the contest. It was a very charming performance that saw him move around the stage with grace. Although the official video, has several children performers appearing in the video, we think he performs, and does it well on his own. Maybe a dark horse of the competition?

Ireland:

What can we say about Ireland this year? It's such a magical song, and Anna Kerarney certainly conveys this on stage. She looks, and sounds angelic. Once again, the backdrop for Ireland is spectacular, and very natural, and fairy tale like. We think this maybe Ireland's best entry at the competition. That outfit though!!! Disney's "Frozen" springs to mind. We are hoping for a top ten finish this year. Good job Ireland!

Italy:

This year, Marta has the honour of singing for Italy, and what a singer she is! She impressed everyone with her very powerful voice. Despite her young age, she fills the stage very well with her presence and impressive voice as she sings passionately about our planet. She looks very beautiful and sparkly on stage, and seems at ease up on that big stage. Will this year be Marta's year?

Kazakhstan:

You cannot mistake the powerful voice that young Yerzhan has. Each time he performs, he delivers, and his second rehearsal is just proof of that. He is a very reliable singer who guarantee's perfection every time he sings. His official video has such a Disney feel to it, whereas his rehearsal feels more like Peter Pan. He was the boy that never grew old. Yerzhan's song will never grow old too. The performance felt theatrical, and added another element to this amazing voice. This is year number two of Kazakhstan being present at the Junior Eurovision, and we think this could be the second year they achieve a top ten too.

Malta:

Eliana delivered yet another strong and powerful rendition of her song "We Are More". Despite being alone on stage, she manages to fill the arena so well with her stage presence and incredible vocals. Eliana exudes confidence up on that stage and pours everything into her performance. Her look is simple and striped back, but very striking at the same time. We are sure that Malta will do very well this year!

So that's a wrap for the first day of second rehearsals! Who was your favourite today? Let us know in the comments below!
