Eurovision 2020 l Two finalists have been announced for Australia Decides

Australian broadcaster SBS have announced their first two finalists for Australia Decides. Casey Donovan and Vanessa Amorosi will compete in the country's National Final on February 8th, 2020. They will be vying for the opportunity to represent Australia next year at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, Netherlands. 

 

Casey Donovan is an Australian singer, songwriter, actress and author. She is best known for winning the second season of Australian Idol in 2004. At the age of 16, she became the youngest winner ever in the show's history. Casey also won the third series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here.

 

Vanessa Amorosi is an Australian singer-songwriter and an recording artist. Her combined album and single sales have reached over two million worldwide. She is known for her ability to vocally cover various genres of music. In 1999 her debut single "Have a Look" reached gold status in Australia. Vanessa also performed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney with the song "Heroes Live Forever"
