Eurovision 2020 | The Netherlands start searching for their 2020 representative
The search has officially begun for the Dutch representative for Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam, the selection committee holding the first listening session today.
The Dutch selection committee has six members and will be responsible for selecting the artist and song that will represent The Netherlands in their home-hosted contest next may. The six members are made up of two DJ's, the Director General of Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS, two commentators and a long-serving delegation member.
Since 2013, all Dutch entries have been internally selected. Anouk was the first internally selected participant of the decade and finished 8th in the Grand Final in 2013, ending the eight year long non-qualification streak.
Duncan Laurence represented the Netherlands in Tel Aviv with his winning song "Arcade". Check out his performance below!
