Junior Eurovision 2019 | Opening ceremony to take place on November 18th


It has been confirmed that the opening ceremony for Junior Eurovision 2019 will take place on Monday November 18th at the Silesian Theatre in Katowice, the largest theatre in the Silesia region that can accommodate up to 447 people.

Whilst the Junior Eurovision Song Contest itself will be taking place in Gliwice, all of the delegations will be staying in Katowice, which is only 25km away from Gliwice.


The ceremony is expected to begin at 16:00 CET, and it will be a closed event. However, the official Junior Eurovision website will be live streaming the event. It is unknown at present if the Polish broadcaster TVP, will be broadcasting the event as well.

According to Polish website, Dzennik Eurowizyjny, TVP have prepared a lot of surprises for the participants and the viewers.



With only 24 days to go until the Junior Eurovision 2019 opening ceremony, why not relive last years opening ceremony in Minsk, Belarus.
