Eurovision 2020 | Could there be three hosts for the contest?
Dutch newspaper AD (Algemeen Dagblad) has reported that there could possibly be three hosts for Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam. Executive producer for Eurovision 2020, Sietse Bakker, has spoken out on Dutch television programme RTL Boulevard, saying "We don't want two, but three".
There have been many names circulating around Dutch media with regards to hosting Eurovision 2020, among them being Michiel Huisman, Eva Jinek and Jan Smit, with the latter two publicly hinting that they would be interested in hosting the show.
More Dutch stars have also spoken out about hosting Eurovision 2020. Television presenter Chantal Janzen has said: "I would do that. But I always think it will be someone from NPO" whilst Dutch comedian Paul de Leeuw, who was the spokesperson for The Netherlands in 2006 and 2007, has said: "If I were asked, I would say: very much".
If The Netherlands decide to go for three hosts, it would be the sixth contest to do so, following on in the footsteps of Eurovision 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2017 who all had three hosts.
