Junior Eurovision 2019 I Gromee will compose theme song for Junior Eurovision

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 which will take place in the polish City Gliwice on the 24th of November is getting closer, and therefore, more details of the Event are being announced.

Besides the entries of the 19 participating countries of this year's edition, the composer of the theme song has just been announced as former Eurovision participant Gromee (Poland 2018). Even though he failed to qualify for the final alongside Lukas Meijer in Lisbon with his song "Light me Up", the polish broadcaster still believes in the DJ, and have assigned him with the task of creating the theme song for this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

However, it should not be surprising that TVP announces a polish former Eurovision representative for this important task since the theme song is one of the very first impressions of the show, setting the mood for the whole evening.

Even though there aren't any more details for the theme song, it can be expected that the theme song will possibly have electronic elements in it, considering Gromee's musical Background. Since Gromee is famous for his energetic and happy songs such as his Eurovision entry, this year's Junior Eurovision slogan "Share the Joy" will mostly get a suitable theme song. There has been no announcement about he release date yet, so for the mean time, we will just have to sit tight and wait!

While we await the release of his Junior Eurovision theme song, lets take a look back at our interview with Gromee (and Lukas Meijer) at the London Eurovision Party 2018:

Do you think Gromee is a good pick from TVP as the theme song composer? Let us know what you think in the comments!
