Eurovision 2020 | It's Blas Canto for Spain!

Some time ago, Spanish broadcaster announced a change from their national final 'Operación Triunfo' to an internal selection to find their artist for 2020. Today, Spanish broadcaster RTVE announced who will be representing them in Rotterdam for 2020!
In a live news broadcast, it was announced that the singer Blas Canto would be performing their song for Spain in Rotterdam. More details about the song will be revealed at a later date.
Blas Canto is a 27-year old singer form Madrid, Spain. He has been a singer since 2000. When at the age of 8, he won the 'Veo Veo awards' for his region of birth Murcia. Also in 2002, he won the entire national competition, with a 3rd place for Spain. In 2004, when Spain won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, he came 2nd in the National Final, after MarĆa Isabel. He was part of the Spanish boyband 'Auryn' who were active from 2009 till 2016. In 2011 the band participated in the Spanish national final and got to the final 3.

Miki and his song 'La Venda' represented
Spain in the 2019 edition of the contest and
they ended up in 22nd place with 54 points.
