Junior Eurovision 2019 | It's Erin for Wales with 'Calon Yn Curo'!
After a summer of song, Wales has finally decided on their second Junior representative for this years contest to be held in Gliwice, Poland on November 24th 2019. The broadcaster has spent the summer searching for their next star, and tonight they have found it. After, a strong national final it was decided that Erin with the song 'Calon Yn Curo' (Heart Beating) will have the honour of representing the Celtic nation in November.

Once again S4C used the same formula 'Chwylio Am Seren', that was used to select Manw, with the song "Perta" last year. This time around, it was Erin who was victorious, and will be Wales' next Junior Eurovision star.
This summer has seen judging panel Connie Fisher, Lloyd Macey, and Tara Bethan hold a series of auditions, and whittle down the perpective artists to twelve. Last week, saw these 12 cut to a final six that has seen Sophia, Cerys, Erin, Y Minis, Carys, and Mackenzie & Rhiannon.
The judging panel once again cut these six, to a final three (name the three ) who would sing this year's entry "Calon Yn Curo" . It was a combination of a jury, and public vote that has seen Erin be crowned the winner.
Last year, the Eurovision community was delighted, and surprised to see Wales on the list of participants. 2018 marked the first year that the country had been invited to the contest along with Kazakhstan. The honour went to 14 year old Manw who sang "Perta", and gave a performance of her life. Despite finishing at the bottom of the leader board scoring 29 points, S4C will not give up, and are determined to find a winner at the contest, and are hoping that Erin will be a star and shine for Wales at Gliwice.
