ESC 2020 | Romania confirms participation for Eurovision 2020

Romania has confirmed its participation for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam!
According to official sources, earlier today, TVR's Council of Administration approved Romania's participation, however no details regarding the method of selecting the artist(s) and the song were mentioned. But we will find out all the details in due time.
Romania in The Eurovision Song Contest:
Unfortunately, Romania failed to qualify in 2019, following on from the non-qualification of The Humans in 2018. This year, Romania was represented by Ester Peony with the song "On a Sunday", who finished in 13th place with 71 points.
Romania was last present in the Eurovision final back in 2017 with their song "Yodel It" sung by Ilinca and Alex Florea, who achieved Romania's highest score in Eurovision with 282 points. Their best Eurovision results have come in 2005 and 2006, where they finished in 3rd place and 4th place respectively.
