JESC 2019 | Karina Ignatyan will sing 'Colours of Your Dream' for Armenia


Armenia have chosen their representative for the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019, and it's Karina Ignatyan with her song "Colours of Your Dream".

A total of 10 acts participated in the Depi Mankakan Evratesil final, with Karina and Vardan advancing to the super final in which Karina emerged victorious. The winner was chosen by a mix of audience vote, an expert panel made up of international members and a kids jury, in which last years Junior Eurovision winner, Roksana Węgiel was a part of.

Last year's Armenian representative Levon, and last years Junior Eurovision winner, Roksana Węgiel both performed in the final, alongside former Armenian Junior Eurovision participants, including Monika Manucharova (2008); Vladimir Arzumanyan (2010); Dalita (2011) and Misha (2017).


Karina's song was composed by Taras Demchuk, who also composed Russia's Junior Eurovision songs in 2017 and 2018. It was written by Margarita Doroshevich and Avet Barseghyan, who has written Armenia's Junior Eurovision songs in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
