ESC 2020 | The Netherlands to hold an internal selection for 2020!

While the preparations for Eurovision 2020 are on their way, Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS have revealed they will be picking an artist via internal selection. 2020 will mark the eighth time that The Netherlands has held an internal selection for Eurovision. Further information about the process has not been revealed yet, and is expected to be revealed at a later date.
Since 2013, selecting an artist internally has led the Netherlands to some great results, including Runner-up in 2014 and winning in 2019. They have only missed the final once, in 2015.
Duncan Laurence represented The Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, winning the contest with 498 points, giving the country their fifth Eurovision win since their debut in the first contest in 1956. Will Duncan's successor achieve the same Eurovision success?
