JESC 2019 | The Search For Wales' Next Junior Eurovision Star Begins Tonight

Tonight, Wales will move one step closer to finding its next Junior Eurovision star as the first episode of Chwilio am Seren will air on Wales' welsh language broadcaster channel S4C.
The first show that will be broadcast tonight will follow the auditions that took place over the summer, that saw the mentors determine which acts would go through to the semi finals in Swansea.
Once again, those who have been successful to move on to the next stage will be mentored by Connie Fisher, and Tara Bethan, who also had this role last year. They will also be joined by new mentor Lloyd Macey who rose to prominence after competing in the X Factor 2017.

Several weeks ago the 12 singers shortlisted performed in Swansea. These 12 will then be cut to a final 6 that will compete in the grand final that will be held in Llandudno on the 24th September 2019. Once again, the winner will be decided by a combination of industry expert voting, and an audience vote.
The show can be viewed at 20:00 GMT (21:00 CET), on S4C. Stay tuned as we post the results from tonight's show later.
