Switzerland | Song submissions open for Eurovision 2020

The Swiss broadcaster SRF have opened song submissions for Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam. All interested songwriters and composers have until September 12th to submit their song(s) to the broadcaster.

Following on from Luca Hänni's success in Tel Aviv, which saw him bring Switzerland back into the top 10 for the first time since 2005, (and back into the top 5 for the first time in 16 years!) Switzerland have opted for an internal selection again.

Once all the songs have been submitted, a 100 member audience panel together with a 20 member international jury will chose the song and singer that will represent Switzerland in Eurovision 2020. The selection of Switzerland's representative will be a join collaboration between all four Swiss broadcasters - SRF (German), RTS (French), RSI (Italian) and RTR (Romansh).
