JESC 2019 | Jordan Anthony will sing for Australia

September 1, 2019

The Australian broadcaster ABC have announced that 14 year old Jordan Anthony will represent Australia in the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Poland.

Jordan, from Perth, Western Australia, grew up in a musical family and has been singing and performing from a young age, even writing his first song when he was 7 years old.

Earlier this year, Jordan auditioned for The Voice Australia, where he received a lot of praise from the judges. He made it all the way to the final, finishing in 4th place overall.

Head of Delegation for Australia, Paul Clark, has said of Jordan: "Jordan inspired us on The Voice, his character and his talent really resonated. This is the perfect opportunity to take his music to a much bigger international stage, where he will be representing Australia for the first time. Go Jordan!"

At present, it is unknown what song Jordan will be singing in Poland. So while we await his song, let's take a look at his audition on The Voice.
