JESC 2019 | Yerzhan Maksim will sing for Kazakhstan


12 year old Yerzhan Maksim has been confirmed as Kazakhstan's representative for Junior Eurovision 2019 in Gliwice-Silesia, Poland. Yerzhan hails from Oral, a city in Northwestern Kazakhstan, and has been singing and taking music lessons since he was 5 years old.

Yerzhan has participated in many music festivals and competitions throughout Europe, including San Remo Junior 2017, Slavianski Bazaar 2017 where he achieved second place, and Batumi Dolphin Fest 2016, which he won. He also took part in Kazakhstan's national final for Junior Eurovision 2018, where he finished in second place behind Daneliya Tuleshova, and was a finalist on The Voice Kids Russia in 2019.



It is unknown yet when Yerzhan's song will be revealed, so in the mean time, let's re-live Kazakhstan's Junior Eurovision debut in 2018:
