Poland | Szansa Na Sukces Will Be Used To Select Poland's Junior Eurovision Entry 2019

Poland will opt for a national selection when choosing their Junior Eurovision Song, which will take place on home soil this November in the city of Gliwice.

The national broadcaster for Poland will use the television show 'Szansa na Sukces' to decide their singer. A post was put on Facebook yesterday, where singers between the ages of 9 and 14 are invited to take part in the show. Auditions for young singers will be held in Warsaw this weekend.

The television programme is not a new one in Poland, and will be used for the first time in selecting the countries singer. This is in marked contrast to the sucessful application of choosing their singer through an internal selection which resulted with Roksana Węgiel winning with the song, "Anyone I Want To Be".

Details of how the song will be chosen have been vague, so stay tuned for further details.

This year the contest will be held on Sunday 24th November 2019 in the Polish city of Gliwice, with nineteen countries expressing their desire to participate which include Spain who have opted to make a surprise return after years away from the contest.
