ESC 2019 | The Netherlands has won The Eurovision Song Contest 2019!

The Netherlands have won The Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in 44 years!
That's it folks!!! We finally have a winner. It only seemed like yesterday when Netta was crowned the winner last year, but now Europe has a new champion, and that is Duncan Laurence from The Netherlands with his song "Arcade"
The results followed previous years where the winner was decided by a mix of 50% televoting, and 50% jury voting. Sweden was the winner of the jury vote whilst Norway was the winner of the televote.
The Netherlands was the winner overall, with Sweden in second place and Russia completing the top 3.
Check out Duncan's performance below:
Tonight, also saw special performances from six former Eurovision performers who were all covering each others songs. They were Conchita Wurst who performed "Heroes", Måns Zelmerlöw with "Fuego", Eleni Foureira with "Dancing Lasha Tumbai", Verka Serduchka with "Toy", Gali Atari with her winning song "Hallelujah" and Netta Barzilai with "Nana Banana". Madonna was also part of the show. After a week of will she? won't she? it was finally confirmed earlier this week, that she would be performing two songs. Tonight, Madonna performed, "Future", and her former huge hit, "Like A Prayer".
See you all in The Netherlands next year! :)
