Denmark | Host City Confirmed For Melodi Grand Prix 2020

It is a week until Eurovision 2019, and the Danish broadcaster are already making plans for 2020, as they have released details for their national final next year.
DR the Danish broadcaster has revealed that they will select their entry on March 7th 2020, with the final being held in the capital Copenhagen.
It has been decided that the Royal Arena, Copenhagen is the venue that will host the show. For those wanting to buy tickets to see the final, can do so, by following the link here, as tickets are on sale now.
The rules, and dates for the submission process have not been given yet. However, further details of the rules, and application process are expected after this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

The mayor of Copenhagen has said of the event that, "the melodi grand prix is a special part of our cultural heritage, which year, after year manages to gather the Danes across the generations and parts of the country. After 17 years, we look forward to welcoming the Danish Melodi Grand Prix back in Copenhagen to a huge folk party for both young, and old".
Each year. the final is held in a different city. It has been 17 years since Copenhagen last had the honour of hosting, whilst this year the show was held at the Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning.
This year Leonora will be the countries representative where she will sing, "Love Is Forever" which will be sung in the second semi final.
