Since he was chosen to be the "home boy" this year. Kobi has been non stop on his promotional tour across Europe which has seen him be present at many of the pre-parties. He won Israel's national final with quite a substantial vote, and has a fair amount of pressure on his pretty broad shoulders. Although, the odds are not stacked in his favour, the recent release of the revamped version of "Home" have got many fans eagerly awaiting how he will perform.

FIRST REHEARSAL
What can you say other than perfection. The voice is amazing, and he has managed to maintain all that power that he has always had. The first rehearsal on the big screen did not show any of the video feed, but despite this he still managed to get everyone in the press centre engrossed. Kobi is bringing the voice this year, and Israel should be so proud of the talent that they have. This should make it to the left hand side of the board no problem. The feed came through the second time around, with everyone who stopped, and just couldn't take their eyes off the stage. The third time around saw fireworks which again added so much more, with the press loving it.
The staging was simple but elegant. He was joined by five singers at one point . The lighting, the camera angles all seemed to fit the song perfectly. Although, this will have the bias of a home crowd, it will get a massive applause, and rightly so. It was interesting to see how the press centre, went really quiet, and when Kobi finished with the high note, the whole press centre erupted into a loud cheer. Well done Israel on a first rehearsal.
