MOLDOVA - FIRST REHEARSAL
A few days ago we were told that Moldova would not be giving their performance too much in regards to LEDs however they have definitely put a unique spin on the staging. Firstly, Anna is in a huge white dress which could easily be seen as a wedding dress. Vocally she is also very impressive - does anybody else hear Celine Dion in her voice!?
The centrepiece to the performance is a sand artist which of course was a huge boost for Ukraine in 2011 with their pretty plain ballad 'Angel', could it help Moldova get over the qualification line? However it is noteworthy that its being rumoured to be a pre-recorded video clip projected on to the LED backdrop, with the sand artist on stage there to make it look live ... cheeky from Moldova if true!!
Moldova's second rehearsal will take place on Friday 10th May and they will be performing third in the second semi final on Thursday 16th May.
