Two more rehearsals til the end of the second day - and the penultimate country to rehearse is Greece! Despite being one of the biggest power nations in the song contest in the 2000s, Greece have struggled in recent years failing to qualify two out of the last three contests and squeaking through in 10th for the other year. This year it looks like it could change as Canadian-Greek Katerine Duska represents Greece with her radio-friendly 'Better Love'.
Katerine was internally selected to represent Greece earlier this year and her song definitely shows off her unique, soulful voice. Despite being born in Montreal, Canada, Katerine now lives in Athens. Katerine launched her music career in 2014, releasing single 'One In A Million' and has since released further music including her debut album in 2015. Since then she's been performing regularly at some of the most prestigious venues in Europe - and now of course she'll be gracing THE most prestigious!

GREECE - FIRST REHEARSAL
Last year, Greece were plagued by technical problems but this year hopefully we won't see a repeat of that. With one of the most interesting props that we've seen so far, Katerine is joined on stage by a huge egg-like prop whilst she's also joined by three females on stage and two more that are fencing on a platform to begin with.
In addition to the five people on stage, Katerine is also joined by a giant birdcage-shaped prop which has two sides to it. For the last minute it turns around and reveals that it is completely covered in flowers adding to the feminine and pretty vibe that the stage has for the performance.
Katerine is wearing a big white dress whilst the three ladies on stage (that aren't fencing) are wearing yellow dresses, with a big egg-like ball, which is thrown in to the golden circle half way through! The backdrop itself is mostly pink with touches of purple - very pastel coloured which reflects the music video. Vocally Katerine sounds absolutely amazing and any doubts after her performance in Amsterdam will definitely be quelled.
Greece's second rehearsal will take place on Friday 10th May and they will be performing sixteenth in the first semi final on Tuesday 14th May.
