Greece | Antique Are All Set To Reunite For One Night Only

They were the band that brought the change of fortunes for Greece at Eurovision. When they performed their hit, "(I Would) Die For You" back in 2001 it would set a reaction that would see Greece win the competition just four years later, with one of the members of the duo. Now for those who loved Antique, are set to love the news that the band will reunite for one night only this summer.
Yes you heard it, "Antique" which consists of former Eurovision winner Helena Paparizou, and Nikos have decided to come together once more for the Swedish musical festival 'Vi som älskar 90 talet' which will take place in Gothenburg on the 13th July 2019. The exciting news was placed on their social media, and will see the pair singing many of their classic hits, which is bound to include the Eurovision song, "(I Would) Die For You".
Despite going their separate ways over the years. They have remained very loyal friends, and will celebrate 20 years since the groups formation in style. It will more than likely be the highlight for many who will be going to the event.
The band were formed in 1999, that combined an eclectic mix of pop, with many Greek elements. They instantly became popular in Sweden (where they were formed), Scandinavia, and Greece where they had a massive following. Representing Greece, would almost become inevitable. Although they did not win, it did sew the seed for many successes for the country at Eurovision. The band would tour, win several awards, and release 6 albums. The song, "(I Would) Die For You" would be one of their biggest successes, charting in many countries.
