ESC 2019 | More Stage Construction Updates from Tel Aviv!

Last month, the building development for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest stage started and despite some roadblocks here and there, it appears progress is being made as the stage at the Expo Tel Aviv is slowly constructed. Earlier today, broadcaster KAN posted some updated photos of the stage construction.

When the plans were drawn up for the stage, they contained a triangular theme in line with the symbol of Judaism, the Star of David. As you can see from the photo above, the neon triangles which will surround the stage and ceiling are starting to take shape - allowing countries to have impressive LED light shows with their performances. You can also see from the photo above From an audience perspective, the seats have also started to arrive - check them out here. You can also see the commentary boxes starting to be made up alongside the back corner here.

The stage is also starting to be created, with the photo above showing off some of the huge LED panels that will be used along the back of the stage. In total - there will be 12. The large shape infront will make up the huge triangular sides that will surround the edges of the stage - each one approximately 26 metres in length!
