Spain | TVE Reveals Commentators, And Spokesperson For Eurovision 2019

March 26, 2019

Preparations for Spain at the up, and coming Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv are going well.  They have the singer, the song, the music video, the tours, and now the Spanish broadcaster have revealed they have the commentators, and spokesperson.

It was confirmed yesterday by TVE that Julia Varela, and Tony Aguilar will be the ones heading to Israel in May, and be the countries commentators for the event.  The duo, are no strangers to the contest though, having performed the same job last year.  This year marks their second year of commentating together.

This will be Julia's fourth time, and Tony's second.  It really looks like the Spanish dream team will be working their magic once more together.  Check out Andy reacts to "La Venda" below:

It has also been announced that Spanish model Nieves Álvarez will reprise her role as the spokesperson when it comes to the voting in the final.  It will be the third time that producers at TVE have chosen her for this role.

This year Spain will be represented by Miki who will be performing his song, "La Venda".  He has recently completed the music video to the song, and is also very busy with the promotion of the song.  He is currently booked for many of the Eurovision pre-parities such as London, Amsterdam and Madrid, where it is hoped that the song will gain more votes at the contest.

Do you like the Spanish entry this year?  Could it make the top ten? Are you happy with the announcement of the commentators, and spokesperson?   Please tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
