Serbia | Final Version of 'Kruna' Released For Eurovision 2019


With less than two months to go until Eurovision 2019. The broadcaster for Serbia RTS have just released their final version of their Eurovision entry. It was only recently on the 3rd March that "Kruna" was selected, but the broadcasters have opted to include a few changes to the song.


The year Serbia had opted to have a national final in order to select their entry. Beovizija 2019 was used that saw two semi finals take place on the 27th, and 28th of February 2019. Each saw six artists progress to the final that was held on the 3rd March 2019. Ultimately it was Nevena Božović who won the right to compete in Tel Aviv with her song "Kruna". The new version of the song can be heard below:



It was a combination of Jury, and public that decided that Nevena should head to Tel Aviv, with the votes being split 50% evenly. She won the jury vote scoring 12 points, whilst scoring 8 from the televote. Collectively she received 20 points coming first. Her nearest rival Dženan Lončarević came second with 17 points.


Last year Serbia were represented by Sanja Ilić & Balkanika with the song, "Nova deca". It scored 113 points culminating in a 19th place. Can Nevena do better this year? Check out Andy reacts below:
