Ireland | Sarah McTernan reveals she submitted Eurovision entries since 2015

It was recently announced that Sarah McTernan will be representing Ireland at Eurovision 2019 with the song "22" but in a recent interview it has been revealed she has been submitting entries in previous years.

Sarah McTernan announced that since finishing third on The Voice in 2015 she has been submitting songs in hopes of being selected, the songs she has been submitting has come from songwriting duo Ylva and Linda Persson. Sarah also confirmed she had submitted a different song this year than "22" before RTE decided to take forward to Tel Aviv but not with the song she had initially submitted. In the same interview with RTE Radio 2 that staging has not been fully confirmed for the performance in May, but it is likely that Sarah will be performing alone on stage in Tel Aviv.

Sarah also tried to represent San Marino in 2018 after entering their unique formatted show 1in360. She auditioned with the song "Eye Of The Storm" which placed third in Songvakeppnin 2016, she however was eliminated in the early rounds not progressing past the online vote portion of the competition.

What do you think of Sarah's song? Would you have liked her to sing something else? Let us know your thoughts!
