Finland | Saara Aalto Finishes Third On Dancing On Ice

The final of the UK's Dancing On Ice was held this evening, and the results are in. Saara Aalto who represented Finland last year with, "Monsters" has finished third. Despite not winning, she has gained yet more fans, and her profile has increased with each television appearance.
The show saw Wes Nelson come second, whilst the outright winner was James Jordan. Despite not winning, she has made a name for herself on the programme. Several weeks she was the first contestant to sing, and skate at the same time. The song was her version of Frozen's "Let It Go", which was also officially released by her.
Saara has had a string of appearances on various reality television shows, often just missing out on a win. Back in 2007 she came second on "Talent Finland". She had two further attempts to try and represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest. On both occasions in 2011, and 2016 she finished second at UMK. She would in 2012 appear on the "Voice Finland", and in 2017 would enter the X Factor UK, where she would once again be a runner up.
Last year the singer would represent Finland, and qualify for the Eurovision Final. However, she would finish 25th, scoring 46 points. Regardless of this she would tour Europe , and released her first album "Wild Wild Wonderland". The talented artist has also announced that she will be touring the UK this year for a very personal show in Liverpool, Cardiff, Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham, London, and Glasgow this summer.
