Netherlands | It's Official! Duncan Laurence will sing 'Arcade' in Tel Aviv


After weeks of speculation, and apparent leaks, the dutch broadcaster AVROTROS has officially confirmed via a press conference today that Duncan Laurence will sing, "Arcade" for the Netherlands in Tel Aviv.


On January 21st 2019 Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS announced they had internally selected Duncan Laurence as their representative for Eurovision 2019. Unexpectedly a rather unknown artist has been selected to represent the country for the first time since 2013, when already well-known Anouk finished 9th with her song "Birds", in Malmö.

Over the last few weeks, a lot of rumours have been reported regarding Duncan’s Eurovision song. So far several songs and song titles have leaked which could possibly be his song for Tel Aviv. The first leaked song title was "Closer To The Heart". The second song was named "I Miss You", which was quite a mysterious ballad, although this was denied some days later by his management and the third song was named 'Arcade'. Today, the broadcaster has confirmed that this is the case.
