March 6, 2019

They have been tight lipped on many of the details for their Eurovision entry, but tomorrow all will be revealed as Switzerland unveil their Eurovision 2019 artist and song, and now a time for the reveal has been confirmed also.

Switzerland this year have opted to select their singer and song internally, the first time they have done so since 2010. They have only qualified for the final twice in that time they have used a national final format and this year, the Swiss will be revealed tomorrow in Zurich at 14:30 CET.

A total of 420 songs were sent into the Swiss broadcaster, the songs were listened to a combined group of 100 Swiss citizens and an international jury to make the final decision on the song and artist. Last year Zibbz represented Switzerland in Lisbon with the song "Stones" despite it gaining support and popularity amongst fans, it only placed 13th in their semi final and were eliminated. Switzerland have not featured in the Grand Final since 2014.
