Albania | 'Ktheju tokës' Revamp Coming on March 8th
It was the first song confirmed for Eurovision 2019 and Albanian representative Jonida Maliqi promised us a revamp when 'Ktheju tokës' won Festivali i Këngës 57 back in December 2018. With a few teasers posted on social media - it's coming!

'Ktheju tokës' - the song chosen to represent Albania at the 64th Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Israel - is a beautiful ballad with ethnic and electric influences in the instrumental. Jonida impressed us all at the Albanian music festival with her incredibly passionate vocals and the stunning orchestral accompaniment. Now the way to hear the final version is just around the corner - with the official video & final studio version being released on Friday 8th March.
So what else do we know?
Jonida promised following her victory that the song would remain in Albanian and from teasers and snippets released over the past weeks there is a noticeable addition to the backing instrumental. More epic instrumental support, more drums and more ethnic goodness. We cannot wait to hear the final version! You can hear an extended one minute snippet of the final version below, originally posted on Instagram earlier today.
