Belgium | Eliot Vassamillet Snippet Released And Entry To Be Revealed This Thursday At 8am CET



There is no doubt that Belgium, in recent years have made every effort to win Eurovision. They have sent amazing artists, amazing songs, but have just been pipped to the post on the grand final night. This year is no exception as they have opted to send their next prodigy, in the form of powerhouse Eliot Vassamillet.


Tonight, the Voice Belgium have given Eurovision fans a little exclusive, and teaser in regards to what is to come with their next Eurovision star. The snippet can be viewed on the websites official Instagram here. However, this will only be available for 24 hours, so don't take long in viewing, and enjoying it. The team at Eurovoxx have heard it, and absolutely love the sound, and power behind Eliot's voice.


Although, no official title has been released, the song is reported to be called, "Wake Up", and if true, this song will wake, and shake the contest up as it promises, to be a dark, yet moody uptempo ballad. The writer has been confirmed as Pierre Dumoulin who was responsible for giving Belgium their last top five finish when Blanche's, "City Lights" finished 4th in 2017.


It is expected that the official song will be released this Thursday at 8.00 am CET, as it will be played for the first time on MNM's breakfast radio show which is hosted by VRT's Eurovision commentator Peter Van de Veire.
