Azerbaijan: Song And Artist Announcement Expected At The Beginning Of March

According to the website INFE Azerbaijan, the national broadcaster of the Land Of Fire, iTV will reveal it's chosen artist and song sometime between March 7th and 10th. The website also states that the broadcaster is still working on making the right choice for the upcoming Eurovision in Tel Aviv.

This may be a surprise to some readers, as Azerbaijan is usually rather early in selecting their participant ( Aisel was selected on November 8, 2017 for example). However, in view of this at least, it may be seen as a good idea as it really gives the country more of a chance to view the songs of other countries, pick the ideal artist and then adapt the style of the artist to the forthcoming situation. All this considered, there is no doubt that great things can be expected from Azerbaijan this year!

Earlier details have revealed that four artists have been shortlisted by iTV , for the contest in Israel. Those artists are:

Samira Efendi

Chingiz Mustafayev

Tofig Hajiyev

Leman
