Lithuania I Jurijus will sing 'Run with the Lions' in Tel Aviv!
After many weeks and plenty of drama in Eurovizijos Atranka 2019, Lithuania has finally selected their Eurovision 2019 entry, and it's Jurijust with his song 'Run with the Lions'!

Lithuanian broadcaster LRT delivered the show, hosted by Giedrius Masalskis and Gabrielė Martirosianaitė, where we saw eight finalists in the race to win the ticket to represent their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Israel.
This was the full lineup:
- Alen Chicco – Your cure
- Henry & Tommy Modric – Neverpart
- Justina Budaitė-Junà – Strength of a woman
- Monika Marija – Light on
- Jurgis Brūzga – CTRL ALT DELETE
- Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys – Mažulė
- Jurijus – Run with the lions
- Jurgis DID & Erica Jennings – Sing!
The winner was decided through a combination of both the jury and the televoting, each having a 50% influence in the decision. The final results were as follows:
Jurijus - Run With The Lions - Jury 12 points, televote 12 points
Monika Marija – Light On - Jury 10 points, televote 10 points
Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys – Mažulė - Jury 8 points, televote 8 points
JurgisDID & Erica Jennings – Sing! - Jury 7 points, televote 7 points
Allen Chicco – Your Cure - Jury 6 points, televote 6 points
Henry & Tommy Modric – Neverpart - Jury 5 points, televote 5 points
Jurgis Brūzga – CTRL ALT DELETE - Jury 4 points, televote 4 points
Justina Budaitė-Junà – Strength of A Woman – 6 points - Jury 3 points, televote 3 points
Last year, Lithuania was represented by Ieva Zasimauskaitė with the song 'When we're old'. She finished 12th in the final of Eurovision 2018 Lisbon with 181 points, which is their second highest score (behind Donny Montell's 200 points with his song "I've Been Waiting For This Night") and their best placing since LT United Finished in 6th place in 2006 with "We Are The Winners". This year, Lithuania is set to compete in the second half of the second semi-final on 16 May.
