Hungary | Joci Pápai has won A Dal and will sing for Hungary in Tel Aviv

Joci Pápai has won A Dal with his song "Az én apám” and will go on to represent Hungary in Tel Aviv. This is the second time that Joci Pápai will sing at Eurovision, the first time being in 2017 when he brought his country back to the top 10 for the first time since 2014 with his song "Origo".
The final of A Dal saw a total of 8 acts taking part. After all 8 acts had performed, there was a jury vote where each jury member ranked each act. The top 4 acts with the highest scores from the juries then went onto the second round, where the winner was determined by 100 per cent televoting.

These are the final results of the jury voting. We can see that Joci was the clear favourite among the jury members, as well as with the Hungarian public. The results of the final 4 were as follows:
Joci Pápai – “Az én apám” Acoustic Planet – “Nyári zápor” Bence Vavra – “Szótlanság” Bogi Nagy – “Holnap”
