Denmark | Leonora has won DMGP with 'Love Is Forever'


Tonight saw the final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix at the Jyske Bank BOXEN arena in Herning where Leonora was crowned the winner with their song 'Love Is Forever'

Leonora, has won Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and will represent Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. She won after advancing through to the final three songs into the superfinal alongside Sigmund and Julie and Nina, before winning the public 100 percent televote superfinal with 45 percent of the vote.

"Love Is Forever" is a tri - lingual entry, featuring the English, French and Danish language. It is the first Denmark have a entry to feature their own language since the language rule was abolished in 1999 and is the first entry for ever feature French from the Danish entry. Leonora will be competing in first half of the second semi final which will take place on Thursday May 16th.
