S!sters have won 'Unser Lied für Israel' with the song Sister!

You can give it a listen here:

Tonight we watched German national final 'Unser Lied für Israel'. Germany is the last of the Big five countries to have chosen its Eurovision 2019 entry. We saw seven entries in the race to win the ticket to represent their country in Eurovision Song Contest in May in Tel Aviv, and try to achieve the same success as Michael Schulte, who finished fourth in Lisbon, with his emotional ballad 'You Let Me Walk Alone'.

This was the full lineup:

1. Gregor Hägele - "Let Me Go"

2. Aly Ryan - "Wear Your Love"

3. Makeda - "The Day I Loved You Most"

4. BB Thomaz - "Demons"

5. Lilly Among Clouds - "Surprise"

6. Linus Bruhn - "Our City"

7. S!sters - "Sister"

The winner was decided by these three factors:

- a jury of 100 Eurovision fans ('Eurovision panel')

- the international jury of experts

- public vote

Hosts of the show were Barbara Schöneberger and Linda Zervakis, with Peter Urban as the commentator. Eurovision 2010 winner Lena also performed on the show, presenting a track from her new album. The last year's winner Michael Schulte was also on stage, just like the German band Revolverheld, Andreas Bourani and Udo Lindenberg.

Are you happy with tonight's result? Can Germany repeat its last year’s success in the contest? Who was your favourite in German selection? Please tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
