Estonia | Victor Crone With The Song 'Storm' Wins Eesti Laul And Head To Tel Aviv

Tonight has seen a further four countries selecting their songs, and artist for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv. This evening, two of the three Baltic nations, Estonia, and Latvia have chosen their participants for Israel. Tonight, Estonia has chosen Victor Crone with the song "Storm"
The country opted to use Eesti Laul once again to determine their artist that has seen ??? become the next Estonian Eurovision star. The show which came live from the Saku Suurhall in Tallinn, saw twelve artists compete in the national final after they had previously won their semi finals.
This was the tenth year that the broadcaster ERR have used this selection process. Two semi finals, held on the 31st January 2019, and the 2nd February 2019 have all culminated in this evenings result. An initial 24 songs were narrowed down to tonight's twelve (6 from each semi final) , that has seen only ???? with the song, ??? win the final. The twelve songs that competed were:
Sissi – “Strong”
Lumevärv ft. INGA – “Milline päev”
Victor Crone – Storm
Kerli Kivilaan – “Cold Love”
xtra basic & Emily J – Hold Me Close – Televote Qualifier
Kadiah – “Believe”
Synne Valtri – “I’ll Do It My Way”
Stefan – Without You
The Swingers, Tanja & Birgit – High Heels In The Neighbourhood
Uku Suviste – “Pretty Little Liar”
Inger – "Coming Home"
Sandra Nurmsalu – "Soovide puu"
It was a combination of a 50% jury, and 50% public vote that would see 9 of the acts eliminated. On the jury were Stephane Mgebrishvili, Natia Todua, Tinatin Berdzenishvili, and Zaza Shengelia It left Victor Crone. Stefan and Uku Suviste go forward to the super final. Ultimately the public would chose Victor Crone to win the ticket to Tel Aviv
It was a star studded affair that saw Elina Nechayeva (2018), Getter Janni (2011) and Ivo Linna (1996) all return to the stage. Good Luck ???
