Roko is the winner of Dora and Croatia's Eurovision representative for Eurovision 2019, with the song "The Dream". The song was written by Eurovision 2017 representative for Croatia, Jacques Houdek.
HRT is bringing the show back for the first time since 2010! Dora - Croatian national selection for Eurovision, is back on our screens, in its well-known and successful format, and hopefully, for many more years to come!
We have seen 16 act competing for the prestigious Dora trophy and the right to represent Croatia at Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv:
1. Vrijeme predaje - Bojan Jambrošić & Danijela Pintarić
2. Tell me - Jelena Bosančić
3. Nisam to što žele – Kim Verson
4. Ne postojim kad nisi tu – Jure Brkljača
5. Don't give up – Beta Sudar
6. Tebi pripadam – Lea Mijatović
7. Back to that swing – Gelato Sisters
8. Brutalero – Luka Nižetić
9. All i really want – Elis Lovrić
10. Indigo – Domenica
11. The dream – Roko
12. Redemption – Ema Gagro
13. Tek je počelo – Lidija Bačić Lille
14. Tower of Babylon – Lorena
15. I believe in true love – Bernarda
16. In the shadows – Manntra
At the end of the night, both public voting and jury voting combined, deciding upon a winner. The results of the regional juries were as follows:
Roko went on to top the televoting, receiving 12 points, whilst Lorena and her song "Tower of Babylon" only received 8 points from the televoters, putting her in second place behind Roko.
We also saw some familiar faces and former Eurovision stars. Last year's Croatian representative Franka was there to open the show in a spectacular way, bringing her Eurovision entry 'Crazy' in a quite a different and interesting version.
More familiar faces followed - Vanna (Croatia 2001), and first ever winner of Junior Eurovision in 2003 Dino Jelusić, performed a medley of Dora songs, along with the young talent, and hopefully future Eurovision star herself, Mia Negovetić.
Are you happy with tonight's result? Who was your favourite in Dora? Please tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
