Poland | Group "Tulia" Will Represent Poland in Eurovision 2019
Today, the Polish broadcaster TVP announced the act that shall be represent them in Eurovision 2019 and it is four piece group Tulia.
After a delayed announcement of a week, TVP today unveiled their act for Eurovision 2019. Tulia consists of members: Patrycja Nowicka, Dominika Siepka, Joanna Sinkiewicz and Tulia Biczak, the band describe their sound as a combination folk music and singing with a modern music production.
Tulia were formed in early 2018, but despite their short time together have already performed in multiple festivals during the summer months of 2018, won three awards during the Polish Song Festival in Opole and performed at the FRYDERYKI 2018 Gala, their debut album which was released in late May 2018 has also gone platinum and the group have also performed a sold out tour, and now they are ready to take on music's biggest stage and competition - Eurovision.
No song was accompanied with the release of the artists confirmation, as of yet we do not know if the song is coming later today or at a later date entirely, TVP put down the delay of the reveal of Tulia from the initially announcement of 8th February due to a flurry of late song submissions. This is the first time Poland have selected their artist for Eurovision internally since 2015
