Greece | Katerine Duska Will Represent Greece At Eurovision

In the last few moments the national broadcaster for Greece, ERT, have announced that Katerine Duska will fly the flag for the Hellenic nation at this year's contest to be held in Tel Aviv.
This announcement was expected at the end of January, with the official announcement being pushed back until today due to issues in regards to contracts being finalised with the artist. It was reported a week ago that the broadcaster, and the record company MINOS EMI were discussing contracts to allow the singer to perform at this years competition.
It was also revealed that the singer would perform her Eurovision song in English, as opposed to Greek. Last year's entry was performed in the native language, but it wasn't enough to convince the juries to award it enough points to qualify for the Grand Final.
The singer is Canadian born, but moved to Greece as teenager, where she started to perform, and song write. She enrolled at the Kapodistrian University of Athens to study law. 2013 was the year that she broke through musically, with her song, "One in a Million". In September 2015 she would release her first self penned album named, "Embodiment".
Tonight's announcement has meant we now know the names of 19 artists that will compete in Tel Aviv. However, only a handful of songs are still known.
