Australia | Kate Miller-Heidke will Represent Australia with 'Zero Gravity'
It is going to be a super Saturday with three nations deciding on their Eurovision entries for this year. Australia are the first to kick of proceedings today. The country opted to hold their first ever national final, and have decided that Kate Miller-Heidke will fly to Tel Aviv with the song "Zero Gravity".

After four successful years of an internal selection where all four artists had qualified. The national broadcaster SBS have opted for a national final, which may herald Australia's first win. The contest which is already extremely popular in country, will get bigger for its citizens this year, as they have a direct say in who will represent them at this years competition.
Today, has seen ten artists, and songs compete for this honour. They are as follows:

Mark Vincent – “This Is Not the End”
Aydan Calafiore – “Dust”
Courtney Act – “Fight For Love”
Leea Nanos – “Set Me Free”
Sheppard – “On My Way”
Alfie Arcuri – “To Myself”
Kate Miller-Heidke – “Zero Gravity”
Tania Doko – “Piece of Me”
The winner was decided via a jury vote, which voted on the performances from Friday and a public vote which was from the Saturday performances, after all was said and done from the jury and televote it was that emerged victorious .
Kate emerged victorious after winning the televote and jury votes, after a close jury vote with only seven points splitting the top three, Kate cemented victory after the Australian public agreed with the juries and decided that she will represent Australia in Tel Aviv. Electric Fields and Sheppard placed second and third respectively with drag queen superstar Courtney Act closely behind the top three in fourth.
This year's show came live from Australia's Gold Coast, and was hosted by Myf Warhurst, and Joel Creasey who have been the countries commentators since 2017. The show also featured Dami Im in the interval, who represented Australia back in 2016. Could Kate be a successful as her?
