Russia | Sergey Lazarev To Represent Russia At Eurovision 2019


News just in that there is a forecast of "Thunder and Lighting" that will get "very exciting". It is news we have all been waiting for, but not come totally unexpected that this year Russia will be represented by none other than Sergey Lazarev.

In the last 30 minutes the Russian broadcaster RTR have revealed that fan favourite Sergey Lazarev will once again grace the Eurovision stage. This news has also been tweeted by the official Eurovision twitter site. This Saturday will also see the broadcaster host a programme called, "Hello Anderi!" in which the reveal will be announced, with more details given.

According to reports the song will be composed by Philip Kirkorov, and Dimitris Kontopulus whilst being produced by llias Kokotos. Other information has also suggested that the entry will be power ballad, and will see the staging director Fokas Evangelinos used once again. The entry is expected to be "grand" and "Epic", with the entry being recorded with a full symphony orchestra.

Sergey is a fan favourite and represented Russia back in 2016 in Stockholm with the song, " You Are The Only One". He was expected win but placed 3rd in the final. Russia are certainly going big this year, and with Sergey at their side could certainly do this.
