Romania | Xandra Withdraws From Selectia Nationala Semi Final 2

It has been a rather turbulent time for Romania with its national final 'Selectia Nationala'. There has been a number of withdrawals since the original line up was announced several weeks ago. Just before the second semi-final this Sunday, there looks to be another name that can be added to the list.
Xandra who was due to appear for the fourth time, in an attempt to represent Romania will now withdraw, and not compete. The song, "Independent" will no longer be sung. It now looks like the semi final that would have consisted of thirteen songs, will now only have twelve.
Check out what Andy thought of Independent when he reacted to all of the songs from this year's Romanian national selection.
The first semi final that was held last week saw six songs progress to the final. This week will see the juries chose another five, whilst the public have their say and chose a sixth qualifier. The final will take place on the 17th February, and see twelve songs compete to be Romania's next Eurovision star.
Last year the country failed to qualify for the grand final after 'The Humans' with the song, "Goodbye" scored 107 points coming 11th narrowly missing out. Could the country do one better this year and qualify?
